THE REAPING
Applicants may initially hold a maximum of one Tribute and one Supporting Character. After both applications have been received and approved, a third and fourth character may be held based on availability. This may either be another Supporting Character from a different category or a second Tribute but only if if that Tribute is from the alternate game from the one first held and is in a different District. Please note, characters killed at the Cornucopia are no longer noted prior to Game Start, all effort will be made to restrict the casting of Cornucopia Fodder to players who volunteer for that purpose. Please note that all characters must be filled in all districts before additional characters may become available for play. Support staff positions will become important in regards to activity as the game proceeds and Tribute characters are eliminated in the Arena. *For ALL* Mentors and Support Holds please first consult this comprehensive list of relevant Game Canon for available characters. For Mentor holds, please consult the list of past winners . Please note the current year is 26 AN (Annon Noctem). Previous years would be counted backwards starting from zero and considered to be PN (Per Noctem) for during the dark times, similar to the Roman calendar. Please note this order of death is modified but random. Players that apply for only one character might find themselves characterless fairly quickly during the course of the game if they do not plan ahead. Holds last five days.** At this time, no extensions will be available for holds, but players may rehold the same character after a waiting period of forty-eight hours if they are still available. Also note that Players currently in game get first dibs on Tributes, so even if you cannot hold a Tribute, please consider holding a Supporting character with the idea of playing a Tribute in subsequent rounds. Please fill out the appropriate application for tribute, support member, or mentor as found here and submit it with a comment to the application page using a pre-created journal or through a link to a CDJ entry. Proxy holds will be available for those unable to hold. HOWEVER, players will only be able to hold for one other person and the player with the hold must confirm the hold within 24 hours or it will be dropped. This is to prevent someone from coming in and holding everything for all their friends (not that I think anyone would do that but you never know). Proxy holds are also only allowed for players currently in game, all other applicants must place their own holds.
